Toyota Corolla getting a facelift. But the jury is still out on how extreme makeover should.

Toyota suggests a more daring style for 2014 Corolla with Furia, the concept car unveiled at the Detroit auto show Monday. This concept allows the company carefully to see how people react to changes in styling before the release of the final version of the Corolla, which is expected to go on sale sometime this year.

Honda has made no secret that the Urban Concept is a small crossover SUV in disguise, even given the launch date, Toyota reveals what Furia Concept, which was teased earlier, it is all about. Not to sound too cynical, but Corolla with curb appeal will definitely be a surprise?

This concept has a futuristic front end with blacked-out air intake is low, the LED light sleek and sharp raked windshield, pronounced wheel arches that house 19-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights and short front and rear overhangs.

Furia Concept Corolla is 4620 mm (181.9 in) in length, 1805 mm (71 in) wide and 1425 mm (56.1 in) tall and sports a relatively long 2700 mm (106.3 in) wheelbase.

If we skimp wheel, carbon fiber trim from taking the wheel arches, rocker panels and rear valance and LED light strips that run on the hood, and if it does not pull tricks Toyota FT-Concept to us, we can almost visualize the next-gen Corolla is not look too bad.
